Curves Come Back in 2005 Cadillac STS
Saturday January 17, 2004
It's no secret that GM's vp of all that's good in automobiles, Bob Lutz, did not like Cadillac's razor-edge design theme when he arrived on the job a couple of years back. "You get used to it, eventually" was the best praise he could muster. So the 2005 Seville, now known as the Cadillac STS, has just been revealed (photographically) and guess what? Those hard edges have been softened, at least moderately. Seems that Lutz ordered the development pushed back several months so changes could be made. Of course the STS still resembles the CTS that intro'd the theme; anything more would have been risky with Cadillac currently in the throes of reinventing itself. New York's auto show in April will be your first chance to see the 2005 STS in the metal.
