Test Drive: 2004 Porsche Carrera 4S
Wednesday June 2, 2004
When Colin Hefferon writes that the Carrera 4S is one of the best-handling sports cars in the world, he won't get any argument from me. Nor will I dispute his claim that "it's not just for any rich guy." Getting in and out of a Carrera is sufficiently awkward that folks "over a certain age" won't make it without a follow-up trip to the chiropractor. Young guys will love this car but they won't be able to afford it. Hey, there's just no justice in this world, folks! But it's one terrific sports car and if you're well-off and supple of body your only problem will be restraint with the throttle pedal. Colin, I suspect, is becoming one of us. A certain age.
