Good Design Knows No Age

There's a beautiful 1970 Mercedes Benz 280SE for sale right outside my apartment building. It's gorgeous. While it doesn't look like it's fresh off the showroom floor, it appears to be in excellent condition and its lack of flaws allows you to focus on the design of the car. This car screams elegance. Phil wrote an article about great car design that was based on a piece in Architectural Digest. Simply put, good design is good design. Whether it was done in 1934, 1970 or 2004. Bob Schulties
