2005 Dodge Charger
Tuesday October 5, 2004
Just as Chrysler led its current revival with a throwback to the 300C Hemi of decades ago, Dodge is getting ready to offer its version of rear-wheel-drive retro-power. Conceptually from the muscle-car era, the Charger will be unveiled at the 2005 North American International Auto Show and should hit dealer showrooms in the spring. Base engine will be a 3.5-liter V6 with 250 hp, while the V8 Hemi option delivers 340 hp. Judging by this just-released factory sketch the Charger is a tall-shouldered sedan with a coupe-like roof and an in-your-face egg-crate grille.
