Pony Car: Punchy

First, a confession: I'm not a sports car kinda guy. I mean, I like 'em plenty fine but they were never all that   to me. I have never claimed to be a boy racer (à la Car & Driver) but there's something very magnetic about this new Mustang – I can't stop looking at it. Our friends at Edmunds raved and raved about the 2005 Ford Mustang during their (just posted) full road test. And before you think Edmunds rolls over for any sports car, read their take on the 2005 Corvette. This is the Mustang that it was always supposed to be... it's just that Ford lost their way. Another confession: I'm a closet Ford fan. I guess since my Mom was a Ford lady, it's just in my blood. Go Ford!—Bob Schulties
