Test Drive: 2005 Mazda3
Saturday February 12, 2005
Our world-famous road tester, Colin Hefferon, loved the 2005 Mazda3. He just goes on and on about it. But, in secret, I think he loved the car because it reminded him of his dog Chico. Chico, you see, is a small dog, the kind of dog most everyone needs. Oh sure, once in a while you need a big dog like a Saint Bernard (carrying some whiskey) to help you out of a jam but most of the time you really want a small dog. They are reliable, fun and less maintenance than a big dog. In fact, the way he summed up his review is what tipped me off, "This one's quick, stylish and cheap. Simply put: it's fun!" Is he talking about the great Mazda3 or Chico?—Bob Schulties
