Test drive: 2005 Suzuki Forenza wagon
Monday February 28, 2005
A couple of weeks ago I complained that the Suzuki Reno was too dull. Now here I am test-driving the Forenza Wagon, which is essentially the same car with a different body style, and I think it's terrific. We own a station wagon -- a 1996 Honda Accord -- and it's duller than dirt, but I've yet to find anything that can beat its mix of economy and utility. No matter how much we stuff into that car, we never seem to run out of room. That's more than I can say for many of the SUVs we test drive. The Forenza Wagon does everything our Accord does, just on a slightly smaller scale. It's every bit as boring as my Accord, and I like it just as much. What can I say? Robin and I both love to drive, but we spend more time carting the kids than carving up the canyon roads. The Forenza is a great car for real life.-- Aaron Gold
