Test Drive: 2005 Toyota Prius

Gas is at an all-time high now, eh? Sure seems like that's been said more often than, "There so much gas, they're just giving it away!" This isn't the next morning after a brisket eating contest, so gas isn't plentiful and it's certainly not being given away -- far from it. In fact, it's over $2/gallon here in the states. The high price of gas isn't just hurting wallets, SUV sales are in the dumps, too. So it's great timing that Phil Powell has turned in his review of the 2005 Toyota Prius. This second generation hybrid has now hit its stride and Phil rated the Prius 5 out of 5. That doesn't happen by accident. This is the car most of us really need despite what we tell ourselves.
