Owners of the original 426 Hemi engine from the 60s and 70s called it the "elephant motor", in the same sense as "elephant gun". Today's Magnum with the 5.7 liter Hemi V8 isn't the snorting, tempermental beast that the original 426 Hemi cars were, yet it's fast, it's fast, and did I mention it's fast?
