Test drive: 2005 Chrysler Pacifica FWD
Sunday April 17, 2005
Not long ago, I wrote up a test drive of the Ford Freestyle, a vehicle that attempts to be part SUV, part minivan, part wagon, and isn't particularly good at any of them. Jason Fogelson came to pretty much the same conclusion about the Chrysler Pacifica. Complicating matters was the fact that he drove the FWD, which is the base-model Pacifica; he found it to be underpowered and uncomfortable, albeit wrapped in pleasant-looking sheetmetal. "Form wins out over function," Jason says, and after reading his review, I'm inclined to agree. -- Aaron Gold
