Test drive: Lexus RX400h Hybrid
Tuesday May 17, 2005
One of the reasons people choose cars over SUVs is their poor fuel economy. Well, you can scratch that argument, at least in the case of the new Lexus RX400h hybrid. Along with its car-like ride and car-like handling, the hybrid 'ute gets a car-like 31 MPG in the city and 27 MPG on the highway (yes, the city figure is higher). It's almost enough to make a die-hard car person consider an SUV. (Or is it? Check out our list of ten SUV alternatives.) -- Aaron Gold
