Test drive: 2005 Infiniti G35

It's been speculated that the biggest threat to the all-new 2006 BMW 3-series would be the Infiniti G35. Well, the About Cars road test crew has driven 'em both, and we agree: The BMW is in trouble. Jason Fogelson found the G35 to be an excellent performance car, strong on luxury and styling. All it's lacking is the BMW blue and white "propeller" on the nose -- but the Infiniti's own chrome badge has plenty of cachet. Ladies and gentlemen... it's war. -- Aaron Gold
