Test drive: 2005 Honda Civic Hybrid

I kinda dig the idea of these hybrid dealies. I mean, gas is freakin' expensive (I learned that in CA last week, I'll tell you what!). So, our top-notch road tester, Jason, got his mitts on a 2005 Honda Civic Hybrid and reported in: "Eh." Eh?! Oh come on, man! It uses less gas... doesn't that count? Well, no. Jason said he feels it's too much of a sacrifice because, in order to use less fuel, the Civic Hybrid is, er, lightly powered. I think for some people that might be okay but even without testing this model, I tend to agree. I think my two cats make more horsepower than this car.—Bob Schulties
