Test drive: 2006 Lexus GS300
Wednesday June 29, 2005
This is not a good week to talk to me about technology. My broadband Internet service has been about as reliabile as a 1968 Fiat, and is apparently just as difficult to fix. I never thought I'd miss old technology like dial-up Internet, but I'm getting pretty darn close. So when Guide Emeritus Philip Powell talked about the intimidation he felt when confronting the super-high-tech Lexus GS300, I could totally understand. Of course, I don't have the pressure of a few hundred fellow ferry passengers who will stone me to death if I can't get my cable modem to work. Phil and the Lexus did. Luckily for him, the GS300's technolgy worked as advertised. Now if only Lexus made cable modems... -- Aaron Gold

I’m having a problem with the Air Conditioning on my “2006 GS300″. According to the dealership “…compared to other models same and different years have the same characteristics at this time…until further notice case is under investigation”. Translation, there is a problem, they are NOT fixing it until others complain. So much for customer satisfaction.
