Test drive: 2005 Honda Civic Coupe SE

Here's the cool thing about car reviewer Phil Powell, he likes cars, not the nameplates. He recently reviewed the Audi A4 and now he reviews the 2005 Honda Civic Coupe and has no trouble giving both high ratings because they're both great at what they do. Whereas I'd still be rubbing the Audi's dash and saying, "Mmmmm, German engineering." I've always liked the Civic. My wife's friend had one in college and it was such a great little coupe that it was hard not to like it: great ride, well-built and affordable. Honda's pushing the affordable now but it's still a great car.—Bob Schulties
