Test drive: 2006 Hyundai Accent

I know, it seems like we've got Hyundai fever here at About Cars with all our recent Hyundai reviews but it's not that we're pushing Hyundais. Hyundai is. What the... ?! You see, Hyundai has two all-new cars for 2006 and they are making sure everyone drives them (and then writes about them). Anyway, this time 'round we have the low-cost, all-new Hyundai Accent. Veteran test driver Philip Powell loved it. He summed up with, "Complaints were few, praise plentiful. Yep, that's value." I honestly don't know how Hyundai serves up the Accent with a 10-year warranty at a starting price of $11,500.—Bob Schulties
