Test drive: 2006 Subaru Impreza WRX

For 2006, Subaru has given its sporty subcompact Impreza a complete makeover. A couple of weeks back our intrepid road tester Colin Hefferon tested the king-of-the-hill Impreza, the STi. This week Colin brings us his test drive of the STi's little brother, the Impreza WRX, which is slightly less powerful and slightly more affordable, but just as enjoyable. How Colin has managed to keep his license is beyond me. I know if I had to test drive this pair, I'd set a record for the greatest number of speeding tickets written in a single afternoon. -- Aaron Gold
