More of what's new...

Man, 2007 is shaping up to be one heck of a good year for cars. Pictured at right is the Aura, Saturn's new mid-size entry which is based on GM's mid-size Epsilon platform. That makes it a cousin to cars like the Pontiac G6 and European-market Opel Vectra, and from what I've heard the new Aura is a lot closer to the latter than the former. I hope so -- I know it's in vogue to talk trash about General Motors, but I'm rooting for the home team. They've just smashed one out of the park with the Saturn Sky, and I'd love to see them score again with a solid Camry competitor. I'll be test-driving the Aura in mid-November, and I'm really looking forward to it.
