Off to drive Audi's S6 and S8...

Bonjour from Montreal! I'm here courtesy of Audi, and most of my day will be spent driving the S6 and S8, powered respectively by 435 and 450 hp versions of Audi's 5.2 liter V10. Yesterday it looked as if the rain would give us a good opportunity to test out Audi's famous quattro all-wheel-drive, but today the skies are clear and blue. However, as the swarm of Audi staffers surrounding me would no doubt be quick to point out, quattro has its advantages on dry pavement, too. Look for a blog post with driving impresions tonight. This afternoon and tomorrow morning I'll have a chance to drive some other Audi models, including the A4 and S4 convertibles -- let's hope the rain doesn't come back... -- Aaron Gold
