Clobber a carjacker, get a free Chrysler
What does it take to get a free car these days? As I mentioned a couple of weeks ago, Saab is offering a brand-new Saab 9-5 to any original owners who rack up one million miles on their Saabs. Now Chrysler has given a free Sebring sedan to the Diaz family of Miami, Florida, after six-year-old Briana escaped from a carjacker by beating him with a schoolbook.
Atheysha Diaz was loading her two children into her Acura when a carjacker appeared in the driveway, forced his way into the driver's seat and drove off with the kids still in the car. Ms. Diaz grabbed onto the car and attempted to fight her way in, but the carjacker knocked her off by driving into a utility pole. Quick-thinking Briana started hitting the thief with a book, telling him "It's rude to steal cars." The thief stopped the car, let Briana and her two-year-old brother out, and took off. Both kids were uninjured and Ms. Diaz suffered a few bruises.
Ellen DeGeneres presented the family with a brand-new Chrysler Sebring sedan on her TV show, noting that the car came with two children's car seats, cupholders, and a place for Briana's books. -- Aaron Gold

As if having your Acura stolen isn’t bad enough, being given a Chrysler Sebring (of all things) is really a case of “adding insult to injury!”
What could poor Ellen (known for driving a Porsche 911 in the recent past) have been thinking?
If you could read, it say’s Chrysler gave the family the car, not Ellen!! Maybe Acura should have stepped up to the plate. but Chrysler beat them to the punch. that’s awesome!!!!
Yea, its cool that Chrysler got the jump on everyone else and Ellen was smart enough to cling on for her 5 extra minutes of fame, but Briana deserves recognition for probably saving her own and her brother’s lives.
She’s 8 years old, Toys-R-Us, where are you? Anybody awake at Mattel or other retailers/manufacturers?
Well I think that It Was Good that Chrysler Gave the family a new car as I didn’t see any other car maker offering to do the same thing
