Updated: New York International Auto Show photo gallery and Visitor's Guide
The New York International Auto Show is now open to the public. I've updated the photo gallery to show all of the new introductions, as well as the "What to See" section of the Visitor's Guide.
I have to reiterate that this was a great show -- much better than I expected. Though most automakers introduce new vehicles with tremendous fanfare, New York was a little different this year. Many significant new cars such as the 2008 Cadillac STS and 2008 Volkswagen Jetta wagon were simply put on display without the usual brouhaha, and as a result they may have slipped under some journalists' radar. New York also gives show-goers the chance to see several new cars and concepts introduced at Detroit and Los Angeles earlier this year.
If do you visit the New York show, I'd love to hear what you think the highlights are; click the "comments" link below to share your thoughts. -- Aaron Gold

I liked the NY auto show, particularly the three concept cars from Chevy. I was surprised, however, how little the concept of Global Warming has penetrated the minds of people organizing the show or attending. Sure there were a few cars that ran on hydrogren or some alternate fuel, but in general the emphasis of the show was horsepower, horsepower, horsepower. Big cars and SUVs with huge engines and plenty of horsepower.
