Test drive: 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer
So I've finally had a go at Mitsubishi's new compact Lancer -- two of them, actually. Mitsubishi was kind enough to loan me both the mid-level Lancer ES -- which I assume will be the model that sells in volume -- as well as the sporty Lancer GTS.
2007 has been a pretty good year for small cars; several of them made it onto our list of the best new cars of 2007, and one in particular -- the Nissan Sentra -- took its place as my personal favorite among compact sedans. So how does the new Mitsubishi Lancer fare against some very stiff competition? actually the lancer has some very good qualities,but it’s downfall is in the horrible resale value…most are destined for J.D. Byrider lots…and that’s hardly an imprimatur!
