Photo gallery: Porsche and planes
Whenever we post a car review, we almost always post a photo gallery to go along with it, and I usually don't devote a separate blog entry just to the photos -- but today I'm making an exception for two reasons. First, because it's a cool car -- the 2007 Porsche 911 Targa 4s. Second, because test driver Philip Powell shot it in a cool location: the British Columbia Air Museum, located next to Victoria International Airport on Vancouver Island in Philip's home town of Sidney, BC. The BC Air Museum has a cool collection of planes, and the staffers were kind enough to allow Philip to bring the Porsche out onto the field and shoot it among the aircraft, a rare treat in these post-9/11 days. Besides being a major car nerd, I'm also a major airplane nerd, so I really enjoyed the photos. Check out the photo gallery today -- and check back tomorrow to read Philip's review of the 911 Targa 4S. -- Aaron Gold

AWESOME!!! Two of my favorite things: Porsches and planes! I will be awaiting the review tomorrow.
I love the planes, but I never really cared for the Porsche thing…I guess to me, it always had that frog eyed look to it…kinda had bulges that make it muscular in an ugly way…now Ferrari &Mmaserati,Lambo and others… now those are beautiful cars to be compared to aircraft…in my humble opinion, of course…Don
