OK, gang -- I've loaded up my Los Angeles Auto Show photo gallery with pics from the show, and my Visitor's Guide has what I think are the things to see if you can make it. Well, I’m very depressed!
Of all the vehicles shown, the ones I’d like, I can’t afford. The ones I could afford are some of the ugliest pieces of crap I’ve ever seen in my life. The only one that showed some promise was the Toyota Corolla.
Guess I won’t be buying anything out of this grouping.
Eric, I do see your point, and yes there are a lot of cars out there that I which I could afford. I have always wanted a Corvette and perobably always will. But the cars that got me excited was the VW, the Smart 2 and the Mini. I have a bike for going fast and a Honda CRV for going out and the family, but I want a vehicle that is roomy and good on gas mileage to go back and forth to work. I don’t need to spend a lot of money on a vehicle that is in a parking lot and out in the elements while am here at work (like now). I own a VW Golf now and have for 12 years. I get 33 MPG and it runs just fine. I am looking for something similar for the next 12 years. I keep thinking about the Scion Xb…
I do like to Corola as well, but isn’t the price in the 20’s?
Any news about diesels? I keep waiting for GM or Ford to be bold and put a diesel in a minivan, crossover, or small SUV.
Watch Honda bring a diesel CRV or Element to the market first

GOOD: Hyundai Genesis,Kia KND4,Lambo Revention
BAD: Bmw 135i(boring as bologna),Subaru(looks like it’s standing still, when its standing still)
UGLY: Audi Cross Cab(ridiculous),Aveo4,Kia Soul(bet the milleniums will love it, but no one else),M-B C63(clumsy/awkward),Lincoln MKS(looking for identity in all the wrong places)
STRANGE: Mitsu CX (a face only a catfish mom would love),NissanGTR(must have the same mom as MitsuCX)
