2008 Lexus IS F test drive coming shortly...
Hi all -- we had a power outage here at About.com Cars World Headquarters last night, so I wasn't able to post today's test drive -- that of the 416 hp Lexus IS F -- last night, as per standard operating procedure. UPDATE: Thanks to About.com Cars test driver (and fellow neighborhood resident) BJ Killeen and her hubby Scott for tracking down and photographing the tree that took out our power lines. Which just goes to show... if you cross BJ, she'll come a-lookin' for you. (The high winds have died down; don't know if she had anything to do with that, but it wouldn't surprise me...) I drove the IS250 and absolutely loved it. It was one heck of a sweet cruiser. Nothing cutting edge here, but very sweet indeed! Now, for those lusting for style, class AND speed, the IS350 fits the bill beautifully. As to the ISF…it is bound to change the whole concept of what this stylish sporty car is all about. And at its projected price, the competition gets downright ferocious.
