It took a while, but I finally got my hands on the new-for-2008 version of Subaru's hottest hot-rod, the Impreza WRX STI. Our short-review template does not allow for subtitles, but if it did, the one for this review probably would have been "You Tried To Kill Me, But I Still Love You". At the risk of sounding like a pig…this car is like a beautiful but high-strung woman (including the body kit).
Is there a full review? The “Read Full Review” link on the STi page links to the review for the regular WRX.
Bryan, that’s correct — Jason pretty much told the whole story in terms of interior, practicality, etc. in his WRX review, hence the short-form STI review. Unfortunately, I can’t change the “read full review” wording. Ah well.
Nice car, but it’s got a lot of great competion out there for the price. The awd is definitely a plus…the gas mileage is not.
