New Year's wishes

Here we are at the tail end of 2012! I'm putting the finishing touches on my list of the Best New Cars of 2013, which will, as usual, go live first thing in the morning. Meantime, I just wanted to wish everyone a safe and healthy New Year celebration. New Year's Day is one of the most dangerous days on American roads; on average, about 140 of our fellow citizens die in car crashes on January 1st. Please don't be one of them -- remember, even if you do the smart thing and have a designated drivers, that doesn't mean your fellow road users are as sensible or responsible.
