Looks like Kia's been bitten with the good-sense bug. While the old Sportage was sort of a dinky trucklet, the new one is a crossover -- part car, part SUV -- and a damn good one at that. The new Sportage may look a wee bit like the old one, but this one rides and drives like a car (as opposed to the old one, which was a buckboard with an attitude problem). Our own BJ Killeen, who is partial to Bentleys and Infinitis, was surprisingly fond of the new Sportage.
