Our first experience with the Avalon was quite a revelation. We were prepared to be bored but came away with considerable respect for the car. The second generation made us even more enthusiastic and this newest Avalon is a gem. The appearance may not be exciting but one can say the same about most Toyota sedans. More important is that the 2004 Toyota Avalon is well-built, reliable, and refined. Our advice is simple. If you like the Toyota quality reputation but you need a large sedan with more than a hint of luxury at a reasonable price, this may be your car.
