2007 Audi S4 MT, Member Paullavelle

Having owned 4 consecutive Audi quattros, (2) 90 series and (2) A4s, I'd always regretted not buying the S version. In 2007 I was again shopping and only looking at the Audi S4 or BMW M3. I drove both many times. The BMW was a bit crisper in handling but the Audi V8 absolutely drove me nuts. It was like a small Nascar sound and torque in a sleeper body. M3s are all over the place and S4s are very rare. The AWD and absolute superiority of the Audi interiors sold me. I now have 35,000 wonderful miles on it. I get excited every morning when I start the silky V8 in my garage. The sound of the V8 at the 7000 RPM redline is a car lovers dream. Not to mention, it is damned fast and extremely competent in all weather. It will seat 4, but the back seat is cramped for adults. I don't care as I never ride back there. It has Recarro seats front and rear, navigation, close ratio six speed manual, Sirius, bluetooth, moonroof, adaptive xenons, the list goes on. It is the best money I have ever spent on a car. Did I mention how great the V8 sounds? My only regret is that i didn't give more serious thought to the RS4 at the time.
