Audi R8 V12 TDI concept

Audi is officially calling this diesel-powered version of the R8 a concept. Occupying its mid-mounted engine bay is a six-liter twin-turbocharged twelve-cylinder diesel that puts out 500 horsepower and 738 (!!) lb-ft of torque. Knowing how much fun the original R8 is with a measly 420 horsepower and 317 lb-ft, I am all set to travel to Germany, get down on my knees, and beg Audi's top brass to put the R8 V12 TDI into production and send it to the US.
