Mitsubishi i MiEV Sport concept at the 2008 New York Auto Show
Mitsubishi says the i MiEV Sport is the prototype for the next-generation Lancer Evolution. Only kidding -- I just wanted to see if you were paying attention. But like the Evo, this concept vehicle does have all-wheel-drive courtesy of three electric motors, one in each front wheel and one driving the rears. Electric motors are capable of producing 100% of their rated torque at 0 RPM, so an electric sports car really isn't that far-fetched an idea.
