What I liked about the Chevrolet Camaro:

  • Surprisingly civil and comfortable
  • Excellent sounds from the optional V8
  • All safety gear comes standard

What I didn't like:

  • Desolate interior
  • Hard to see out of
  • Not a particularly great driver's car

Someone who wants a head-turning set of wheels, and is willing to put up with a less-than-ideal driving experience

Who should not buy the Chevrolet Camaro:
Serious sports-car fans

Two Words: Awesome car, Member americanmuscle79

I test drove a 2010 Camaro with V6 engine at my local Auto show and my opinion is the car has lots of power for its size, comfort, and the dash brings back the classic look of the Muscle cars of the 60's and 70's. When Dodge brought back the Charger and Challenger, I was thrilled and was hoping to see a Camaro, now its here. The ride was extremely comfortable and acceleration is quick. On an uphill ride, which is where the test drive took place, it was very fast uphill and not sluggish, turning is superior to any car I drove and the interior is very comfortable. Braking is very responsive and handling is not rough. the only sight downfall is gas mileage, but I am sure that can be changed in future Camaros. The body could be slightly higher in the driver compartment but that did not stop me from enjoying this car. I will buy one in the future and I recommend it highly. I disagree with the about.com rating, b/c if you are a Muscle Car fan, then you can learn to accept the fact that its for new generation people with a taste of old generation mixed in.
