Flappy exhaust 2008 Chevrolet Corvette

The vacuum cylinder atop the exhaust tips controls a flap, just barely visible in the inner (right-hand) pipe. The flap closes to keep the 'Vette quiet under light throttle; hit the pedal and the flap opens up with a mighty bellow
