The 2011 Volt is Chevrolet's new range-extended electric vehicle, which combines the environmentally-friendly attributes of a battery-powered electric vehicle with the flexibility of a gasoline-powered car. The Volt runs on battery power for 40 miles, after which a small gasoline engine kicks in to generate electricity and keep the Volt running. Click the thumbnails for larger photos.
