300: Chrysler's big sedan gets styling updates to the front and rear fascias, a revised instrument panel, and improved interior fabric. Standard and optional equipment have also been revised and active cruise control is now optional on the 300C.

CROSSFIRE: The Crossfire is scheduled to be discontinued early in the model year. Get it while you can.

PT CRUISER: The eleventh in a series of limited-edition PTs, the PT Street Cruiser Sunset Boulevard Edition features "sunset crystal" paint, chrome wheels and trim, and the 150 horsepower non-turbo engine from the base-model PT. The PT Cruiser convertible will be discontinued early in the year.

SEBRING SEDAN: The Limited model will be available with all-wheel-drive. The entry-level Sebring will now be known as the Sebring LX, and a six-disc CD changer and SIRUIS satellite radio will come standard in all models. Four-cylinder Sebring sedans sold in CA, NY, MA VT, ME, CT, PA and RI will be PZEV-compliant.

SEBRING CONVERTIBLE: After a year's absense the Sebring convertible returns, this time with a choice of traditional soft-top or a retractable steel hardtop. As with most hardtops the roof folds into the trunk, but Chrysler has engineered the mechanism to leave space for two golf bags with the top folded. (For those of us who don't play, I guess we'll just have to replace our regular suitcases with golf bags.) As with the Sedan, the Sebring convertible will offer a choice of 2.4 liter four-cylinder or 2.7 liter V6, both with a 4-speed automatic, or a 3.5 liter V6 with 6-speed automatic.
