Minivans with forward-hinged (as opposed to sliding) rear doors have never done well in the US, but in Europe, where Ford sells the Galaxy, it's a different story. The previous version of the Galaxy, designed in conjunction with Volskwagen (who marketed it as the Sharan), is currently sold in Latin America.
