Alfa Romeo has been part of the Fiat Group since 1986. Alfa is known for unique styling and a passionate driving experience, if not for reliability. Alfa-Romeo was the last Italian marquee to be sold in the United States, with sales ceasing in 1995. Alfa Romeo was scheduled to return to the United States in 2008; their plans were delayed due to the economic downturn, but they did deliver at least one 8C Competizione to the United States.
