Forty years ago, Carroll Shelby started modifying Ford Mustangs to create the awesome GT350 and GT500; Hertz Rent-A-Car even added a few of the former to their rental fleet. History is about to repeat: Shelby Mustangs are back. Shown here is the 325 horsepower Shelby GT, both in "civilian" and GT-H form -- the latter will grace the fleet of Hertz's Fun Car Collection, allowing anyone who can afford the collision damage waiver to rent a real muscle car. Click the photos for more info and check out our 2007 Ford Shelby GT and GT-H test drive.
