Engine detail

Fusion Hybrid uses an Atkinson-cycle version of the Fusion's 2.5 liter engine. The Atkinson cycle keeps the intake valves open during the beginning of the compression stroke, which, for technical reasons that are beyond my feeble brain, provides more complete combustion and better efficiency at the expense of power output.
