For 2011, Ford's iconic Mustang gets a new V6 engine -- a 305 hp 3.7 liter unit with dual overhead cams, four valves per cylinder, and variable valve timing. Together with other improvements -- including cleaned-up aerodynamics, electric power steering, and a choice of 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions -- the new V6 will deliver up to 19 MPG city and 30 MPG highway. Other improvements include a V6 Performance Package, which features the Mustang GT suspension, lower final-drive gearing, and a performance program for the electronic stability control system.
