An all-new Sonata arrives in Hyundai dealerships in early 2010 as a 2011 model; its shapely styling is a sharp contrast to the conservative styling of the previous generation. Base engine is a 198 horsepower direct-injected 2.4 liter four-cylinder engine; in place of a V6, Hyundai will add a turbocharged 2-liter engine later in the model run. A more fuel-efficient "Blue" version (also powered by the 2.4) will also follow.
