Jaguar has made radical changes to the shape of the 2010 XJ, but putting the shape aside, a lot of the car is familiar. The body is once again aluminum (saving 300 lbs over a steel body), although 50% of the aluminum is now recycled. Jaguar will offer standard (XJ) and long-wheelbase (XJL) models, the latter featuring an extra 5 inches of rear seat legroom. Base XJ/XJL models (priced at $72,500 and $79,500 respectively) get a 385 hp 5.0 liter V8. The XJ/XJL Supercharged models ($87,500 and $90,500) feature a 470 hp supercharged version of the 5.0 liter engine, while the XJ/XJL Supersports ($112,000 and $115,000) feature a 510 horsepower version of the 5.0 V8.
