GRAND MARQUIS: The lineup is cut to two trim levels, GS and LS; the LS is available with a high-end Palm Beach Edition trim package. So much for shaking off the "old man's car" image...

MILAN: Antilock brakes, front-seat-mounted side airbags and two-row side curtain airbags are now standard on all models. V6 models get traction control as standard and are available with all-wheel-drive. A much-needed DVD-based navigation system and SIRIUS satellite radio join the options list, among other features.

MONTEGO: Traction control, front-seat-mounted side airbags and two-row side curtain airbags are now standard on all Montegos, and SIRIUS satellite radio is optional.
