COOPER/COOPER S: The hatcback version of the MINI gets a total redesign for 2007 (photo). The new car is similar in appearance to the old one, with the biggest changes being in the grille and headlights. The 1.6 liter engine now produces 118 horsepower in the Cooper; the Cooper S gets a 172 hp turbocharged version. Both are offered with either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. The convertible version is largely unchanged for 2007.
