G5: (photo) Previously available in Canada as the G5 Pursuit, the the G5 comes to the US in coupe form as a 2007 model. Under the skin it's mechanically similar to the Chevrolet Cobalt. The G5 Base gets a 148 hp 2.2 liter Ecotec engine, while the GT has a sport-tuned suspension and a 173 hp 2.4 liter engine with variable valve timing.
G6: Side curtain airbags are now standard on all Coupe and Sedan models. A new 3.6 liter V6 engine with variable valve timing is standard on the GTP coupe and sedan, and a handful of new paint choices are available. The metal-roof convertible returns in GT trim only.
GRAND PRIX: Aside from new paint colors -- five, to be exact -- the Grand Prix is largely unchanged.
GTO: Discontinued.
SOLSTICE: The new GXP model (photo) is powered by a 260 horsepower two-liter engine with direct fuel injection, variable valve timing and a turbocharger. The GXP also gets sportier suspension tuning, StabiliTrak, and styling enhancements. A power height adjuster for the driver's seat is standard on all Solstice models.
VIBE: The all-wheel-drive and 170 horsepower GT models are dropped, leaving only the 126 hp front-wheel-drive version.
