The new 2011 Saab 9-5 is styled to resemble early Saab cars as well as the Aero X concept car. Saab will initially offer three engines: A 220 hp 2-liter turbocharged four cylinder, a 300 hp 2.8 liter turbo V6, and a 160 hp 2-liter turbodiesel. Shortly after launch, Saab will add a 180 hp 1.6 liter turbo four-cylinder as well as an E85-capable BioPower version of the 2-liter turbo. All transmissions will have six speeds and the 9-5 will be available with front- or all-wheel-drive.
