IMPREZA: Completely redesigned for 2008, with an emphasis on the base 2.5i model as a challenger to the Honda Civic, Nissan Sentra, and other mainstream compacts. The WRX will be launched at the same time; the STI will be introduced later in the year.

LEGACY: The Legacy wagon will be discontinued. The Legacy sedan gets new front, rear and interior styling. The new 3.0 R Limited sedan is powered by the horizontally-opposed six-cylinder engine available in the Outback.
