From Aaron Gold, About.com

The Volkswagen Passat Lingyu fuel-cell vehicle is powered by a 55 kW fuel cell stack developed by the staff at Tonji University in China in conjunction with VW Shanghai. The car is based on the Chinese-market Passat Lingyu, a stretched-wheelbase version of the previous-generation Passat (also sold in Europe as the Skoda Superb).
