AVALON: Toyota’s big car gets a mild facelift and new taillights. Under the hood there’s a new six-speed automatic with “manumatic” function, while the rear brakes get bigger rotors and aluminum calipers. Inside, you’ll find further styling tweaks and more standard and optional equipment.
CAMRY: No major changes save pricing – gas models are $100 more expensive while hybrids are $1000 cheaper.
CAMRY SOLARA: No changes.
COROLLA: No changes. An all-new 2009 Corolla will go on sale in calendar year 2008.
MATRIX: Same story as the Corolla.
PRIUS: Toyota’s famous hybrid gets new option packages.
YARIS: The sport-themed S model, introduced last year on the Yaris sedan, is now available on the 3-door hatchback.

4RUNNER: Roll-sensing side curtain airbags are now standard.
FJ CRUISER: Front seat-mounted torso airbags and two-row side curtain airbags are now standard. A new optional Off-Road Package adds 16” wheels with more aggressive tires, specially-tuned shock absorbers, cyclone pre-air cleaner and rear differential lock.
HIGHLANDER: All new for 2008. The Highlander loses is frumpy duds and its 4-cylinder engine; all Highlanders now have a V6 and all-wheel-drive, among many, many other improvements.

LAND CRUISER: All-new for 2008, Toyota’s jungle-crushing SUV gets a bigger engine and even more off-road prowess.
RAV4: An anti-theft immobilizer is now standard.
SEQUOIA: Redesigned for 2008. Like the Tundra pickup on which it is based, the new Sequoia is significantly larger than its predecessor and offers an optional 5.7 liter V8 engine.
